Warranty app for Maruti Suzuki

Involved in design, architecture, coding and deploying a warranty app for India's largest car manufacturer. The process included migrating from their monolithic PLSQL code to a distributed service built on Java by ensuring all good coding standards are met. This migration enabled upto 65% increase in performance of the app. This app will replace their current warranty app and will be able to handle close to 1000 warranty processes a second.

Design specs for ONDC's financial sector

ONDC, or the Open Network for Digital Commerce, is an initiative by the Government of India to improve online shopping. By designing specifications for the financial sector, we have enabled multinational companies to design their apps on the specs provided to onboard to the network. With this, these companies can provide loans, insurance, and mutual fund services on the ONDC network in a decentralized manner.

Catalogue builder for a seller on ONDC

A full stack app built from scratch on Javascript that helped the client build a catalogue of their products to sell on ONDC. This app implemented all the protocols manadated by ONDC and we found an effecient way of refreshing the catalogue regularly to keep the data active and updated. By designing the architecture to deploying it on AWS, this app allowed customers to purchase electronic goods on ONDC.

Metadata Engine for Discovery+ OTT Platform

A robust backend system engineered to drive metadata operations for streaming content on the Discovery+ OTT platform. It ensures seamless playback functionality and incorporates an advanced notification system to promptly disseminate job updates to all relevant clients. Additionally, it features a comprehensive view store to track all data and expose APIs, facilitating integration with other clients.

Content Processing for Max OTT Platform

Design, development, and ongoing maintenance of services for a comprehensive metadata system that processes and stores content metadata on a new OTT platform. It includes migrating from PostgreSQL to MongoDB for enhanced scalability. Operating across multiple global regions, the system supports seamless delivery of both live streaming and video-on-demand (VOD) content, while also enabling a seamless ad experience.

Samsung Galaxy Active 4 Watch

Health tracking on the Samsung Galaxy Active 4 watch, seamlessly syncing with Samsung devices. Using agile methodologies, we prioritized high code quality and user-centric design to enhance functionality and user experience. This ensured smooth data exchange and robust health monitoring, boosting synergy between the watch and Samsung's ecosystem, delivering an integrated solution for optimized user engagement.

Modularization of SAPs Cloud Applications

Modularization of a large scale cloud application handling 25+ million requests per day into microservices. This involved breaking down the monolithic application into smaller services, each handling a specific functionality. These services were containerized using Docker and orchestrated using Kubernetes which allowed for better scalability, maintainability and deployment of the application.

Computer Vision for Robotics

Using Vision Transformer (SegFormer) architecture to detect how a robot can interact with objects in it's view. The Vision Transformer creates embeddings of the input data and these embeddings are passed to 2 CNN decoders. The first decoder performs instance segmentation of objects and the detected objects are then passed to another decoder which performs pixel-wise affordance classification of each object.

Real Estate Portfolio Management

A robust system engineered to provide a seamless experience to a tenent and an owner of properties. This app helped manage owner listed properties by creating service requests, reminders which the property manager could take up. Similarly, once a task was completed the property manager can update the status and demand payment on the app. The user interface was integrated seemlessly onto the back end services by providing functionalities like push notifications and alerts.
